LINCOLNS INN
One of four Inns of Court, the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn traces its origins to the 13th century and has occupied its Holborn site since 1422.
A major enhancement to this prestigious building was carried to provide new educational, catering & events facilities and a new library.
The works involved restoration and remodelling works to the Great Hall and its sub level basements, a new 13,000 sqft two storey below ground extension under the east terrace, and a new four storey library extension including basement.
Shockledge was appointed by Graham Construction to provide temporary works and assist with construction methodology for these sensitive works to a prominent historic building.
