MOLE VALLEY DISTRICT COUNCIL

Shockledge were appointed by Faithful and Gould to provide structural engineering services for a major £5 million refurbishment of Mole Valley District Council's office facilities to expand their current capacity.

Using archive drawings, Shockledge recreated the existing building using 3D BIM modelling to enable a full understanding of the existing constraints. By employing the use of virtual reality and augmented reality, Shockledge was able to provide the design team and contractor with detailed information that removed many of the issues associated with working on existing buildings.
