CANNING TOWN RETAIL
Continuing our partnership with Linkcity in its redevelopment of the Canning Town area, Shockledge was appointed to deliver the structural scheme for the 75,000 sq ft of retail space created in the second phase of the Hallsville Quarter project.
This required the design of long-span composite floors and their interaction with the primary structure to provide large areas of mezzanine for a gym, medical centre, shops and cafes. Further structural works included designing modifications for new service penetrations, internal fire separation walls and a secondary support frame for the glazed façade.
